The National Strategic Group for Viral Hepatitis (NSGVH) is an expert group that provides strategic advice and direction around viral hepatitis in England. It works with academics, healthcare organisations, patient representatives, clinicians and people with lived experience to provide strategic direction and advice around viral hepatitis and protect public health. It replaced the Department of Health Advisory Group on Hepatitis and the Public Health England Blood-Borne Infections Programme Board. It serves as a local, regional and national policy forum and provides oversight of activities, shares information and facilitates partnership actions.
